Principal's Message
Term 4-week 4
Today we celebrated World Teachers’ Day, a special opportunity to recognise the incredible dedication and hard work of our teachers. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the morning tea to show appreciation for our wonderful team of teachers. Your support and kind words made the celebration extra special!

On Wednesday students and families showed their school spirit at this year’s Walk to School Breakfast event! The turnout was fantastic, with dozens of eager walkers and riders filling the oval steps to celebrate the Walk to School initiative with healthy habits. Everyone enjoyed a nutritious breakfast and some great company. A big thank-you to our volunteer staff who helped make it a success!

Our second Foundation Transition Session was a wonderful success! Students confidently settled into their classroom activities, exploring play-based learning stations and getting to know their future classmates and teachers. The room was filled with excitement as our newest learners began to feel right at home.
While the children enjoyed their activities, parents participated in an engaging session focused on early literacy skills. They learned about the importance of reading, talking, and playing with their children to build strong foundations for future learning. Assistant Principal, Amanda Nelson shared practical tips and ideas families can use at home to support language development and reading.

The PDO is shaping up to be amazing experience for the school community with loads of fun activities and entertainment, plus heaps of food and drinks options to fuel the hungry visitors.
But we can’t run this event without our school community’s support on the day.
We have 35 spots filled on the roster, but need 175 volunteers across the event to make sure the day runs smoothly and make it enjoyable for the kids.
It would be fabulous if as many families as possible can put their name down to help for an hour at one of the many volunteer spots. Any parent, grandparent, aunty/uncle, friends are all welcome to be volunteers (18+ please).
