STEM/Science

Prep- 2

Over the past few weeks, our Prep, Year 1, and Year 2 students embarked on an exciting STEM challenge that put their creativity and teamwork to the test. The task: design and build a vehicle capable of transporting a small toy. The students were given the freedom to choose any mode of transport, from cars to boats to imaginative creations of their own design!

Working in teams, the students brainstormed ideas, selected materials, and collaborated to bring their vehicles to life. This hands-on project not only introduced them to basic engineering concepts, such as balance, structure, and movement, but also encouraged problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation.

3-6

Our Grades 3-6 students have been hard at work on their amazing invention projects, following the steps real inventors take to bring their ideas to life. Throughout the project, students have been identifying problems, brainstorming creative solutions, and developing detailed blueprints for their inventions.

They have also created prototypes, testing and refining their designs to improve functionality. The final step will be for students to pitch their inventions, showcasing their innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
