Principal's Message

Wednesday and Thursday of last week were truly a highlight of our school year!

Our much-anticipated school musical was a resounding success, leaving everyone in awe. The talent of all our students and staff was on full display.

From the toe tapping dances to the catchy tunes, the show was a feast for the senses. Our talented students shone brightly on stage, showcasing their incredible skills and creativity. The colourful costumes, humorous jokes and lively choreography had the audience smiling all night.

The feedback from families, staff, and students has been overwhelmingly positive. Words like "heartwarming," "joyful," "humorous," "spectacular," "funny," "colourful," and "clever" were used to describe the show. It's clear that our young performers put their hearts and souls into their roles. I was in awe of how they remembered every line, delivered with confidence and expression.

School musicals are an important part of educating a whole person. They help students develop confidence, teamwork, and self-expression. They also foster a love of the arts and create lasting memories that will stay with all involved for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of our students and all those who contributed to making this musical a reality. It was a truly magical experience.

We would like to acknowledge and thank Jane Padden, our music teacher, who has worked tirelessly with the support of all the SMDP staff to make the musical come to life.

These are memories that will last a lifetime. We thank both our students and families for embracing our school musical "This is the Greatest Show".

We are most grateful for your support in having your children at Emmanuel College ready to perform for two nights.

Our students certainly are the 'nicest (and most talented) kids in town'!

If you purchased the DVD/Blue ray/download for the concert,  we anticipate it will be available in the Week 1 of Term 4.
