Year 12 Feature
This week marks the narrowing time that Year 12 finish their final journey here at Caroline Chisholm College. Year 12 students will experience many events and occasions for the last time over the coming weeks as we move into their final weeks of celebration.
There are a number of important events that will involve Year 12. Today, Year 12 were be involved in our Year 12 Fun Day. This is a time that students can gather and reconnect with each other. This involved a Teachers vs Students Dodgeball match at Recess. Followed by a celebration BBQ for just Year 12 and their teachers. We hope that Year 12 enjoyed this occasion with their cohort and their teachers.
Week 10 will mark the start of a number of formal occasions for Year 12. Tuesday will be their last school day and will start with a celebration breakfast with Year 12 and their teachers. Graduation Day will be Wednesday 25th September and this will be a very special day where Year 12 will start with their Graduation Mass followed by their Graduation Ceremony that afternoon.
Year 12 students have been engaged in the Peer tutoring programme in preparation for their HSC. This has involved small group study sessions with past HSC students who have experience in a number of subject areas.
Liveday cattle competition with Rebecca Topp, Audrey Cocks and Brianna Kant. Rebecca Topp won the Champion Herdsperson at the Greater Sydney Cattle Competition involving 12 schools.
Ella Viera ‘On Stage nomination’
Congratulations to all students that have completed their Major works components of their subjects. Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts students have been working diligently to complete their practical exams. Also a very big congratulations to Ella Viera who received nominated for OnSTAGE Individual Performance of ‘Living with the Enemy’. We would like to congratulate Ella and her teachers Mrs Sara Lemaire and Mr Louis Cassel.
I am very proud of the Year 12 students and all they have achieved. They have shown determination and dedication to their studies and HSC preparation. I wish them well and all the very best for the future and look forward to hearing their future achievements.
