South Plympton building work update

During the school holidays, the builders have been working hard, and Stage 1a Western extension is on schedule.

We completed the following projects:

  • Installed a new upgraded transformer that has doubled our electrical capabilities.
  • We installed and commissioned a new Main Switchboard, which allowed us to relieve some of the demand on the old main switchboard.
  • Ground floor concrete poured under the Western Extension. This area is going to feature a beautiful undercover play area with lots of seating space and beautiful greenery.
  • Gyprock sheeting has commenced showing the large classroom sizes
  • Commenced the electrical upgrade for the Art and Home Economics Centre refurbishments (Stage 1B)
  • Installed a 100kw solar system installed on the roof of the new western extension.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation. This is such an exciting time for the College!

Kind regards

Rodger Strevens

Property and Maintenance Manager

Emmaus students achieve record-breaking NAPLAN Results📊

We are incredibly proud of our students, who have achieved the highest average score in our College's history in the 2024 NAPLAN.

On average, 85% of Emmaus students achieved in the top two NAPLAN performance categories (either "strong" or "exceeding")—an incredible 24% higher than the State average!

We give glory to God for His goodness and blessing.

Our students’ outstanding results aren't just the achievement of a select few; they're the result of every child being supported and challenged to reach their full potential. Whether learning comes easy to a child or not, they are all lifted and benefit from our dedicated teachers, robust programs and a school culture that inspires achievement.

Congratulations to our students for their exceptional efforts and to our talented and passionate teachers, parents, and community, who have all contributed to this outstanding result.

We expect the full 2024 NAPLAN results to be made available to the broader community in the coming months at https://www.myschool.edu.au
