A huge congratulations to our Emmaus Basketball teams, who recently competed in the SA Church Basketball Association Inc. finals. They played against schools and churches from across Adelaide. We’re so proud of all the teams that made it to the finals!

A special shoutout to our U16 Girls Emmaus Gold team, who came out on top, defeating Greenlight Green 32-23 in the Grand Final to claim the championship title! The girls showcased great team play, maintained control, and demonstrated defence, and Poppy scored an impressive 16 points! Well done, champions! 🏆👏

Elise's incredible result at National Basketball Champions (Year 7)

Huge congratulations to Elise (Year 7) for her incredible performance at Basketball Australia's U14 Footlocker Club Championships in Casey, Victoria!

After an undefeated local Division 1 District Championship season, winning both the Junior District League and State Championships, Elise and her team, the South Adelaide Panthers, earned a spot in this national tournament featuring the top 24 U14 girls' teams from across Australia.

The Panthers dominated the pool stage of the national tournament with six straight wins and nearly 40-point average margins! Although they faced a tough upset in the Quarter-Finals against the host team, Casey Cavaliers, they regrouped, won their next two games, and achieved an incredible result of 5th place in the country - the second-highest result by any South U14 Girls team at Club Nationals since 1984.

We are incredibly proud of Elise and can't wait to see what the future holds for her. Congratulations on this amazing achievement!
