COLLEGE PRODUCTION - CAST REFLECTION
Production has been such a big part of my life for the past few years! From being such a little part to being in the main cast! I would just love to thank Ms Williams, Ms Papotto, Mr Marshall and all the other staff for making these productions possible. Production is always going to be one of the highlights in my school years. I can’t wait for the next few years to come!

INTERNATIONAL WALKING FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
One of our very own Hazel Glen College students, Sean from Year 8, travelled to Singapore to compete in two International Walking Football Tournaments. The first tournament was played in Singapore and the second was played on a cruise between Singapore and Thailand. Ten countries, including Australia, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Portugal sent teams.
Sean played in an International All-Star Team in an exhibition match in Singapore, along with Singapore's Minister Mr Saktiandi Bin Supaat and Singapore Football Association President Mr Bernard Tan.
Walking Football is a modified version of soccer played in a safe, fun, family-friendly environment. The rules are designed for safety, so that the game is accessible for everyone to play. Congratulations Sean!
YEAR 8 HUMANITIES SHOWCASE
Over the past two weeks, our Year 8 Humanities cohort has been working hard on their Key Assessment Task relating to their Medieval History unit.
For this task, students created an artefact that would belong to either medieval Europe or medieval Japan, and to conclude this task, on Friday August 30th, a ‘museum exhibit' was organised to showcase the amazing artifacts created. From model weapons to castle dioramas, recreations of famous paintings to home-cooked meals, our Year 8's put together a fantastic exhibition. Thank you to all of those who assisted with the set-up, took their classes to the event, or even visited it themselves!
