It has been wonderful to see our parent community engage with so many of our activities. Thank you very much for all the parent helpers, in school, on excursions and at sports days. We could not run these programs without you!
Thanks to our teachers, education support and office staff who go above and beyond to ensure the academic and extracurricular programs run smoothly and engage all children.
Thank you to our School council and the additional hours put in by our Principal selection panel.
Icy Poles
Icy pole Friday begins again in term. Every Friday the SRC will sell icy poles from the Hall Kitchen windows. You can a purchase a term of Icy poles (10 weeks) for $10.00 or you can purchase on the day for $1.50.
Please remember to monitor technology use over the holidays. Pop this date in your diary and look out for further information at the beginning of Term 4.
Garden Beds
A reminder to ask students to stay off the garden beds when running around the school. Our new plants are working hard to dig in their roots and establish themselves and have a much better chance of survival if they are left alone!
Library Books
A reminder from our teachers and library team. There is a large number of overdue books on our library system. We ask that you have a good look around at home, on bookshelves and under beds to see if you can locate any of these missing books. Library books can be brought to school and given to classroom teachers or the office.
Sunsmart
Just a reminder that hats need to be worn when the UV is over 3. Could you please ensure your child/ren have their hats at school so they are able to enjoy playing safely in the sunshine.
Staffing update
This is to let you know that our PE teacher Stephanie Webster will be finishing up at Solway at the end of Term 3. Penny Lanyon, who is returning from leave, will be teaching PE for the remainder of 2024. I am sure you will join me in wishing Steph all the best.
