Term 3 in Foundation!

In Term 3 we have learnt a lot and had many amazing learning experiences.  Here are some highlights.

100 days celebration - We did lots of activities using the number 100. After school we had our potato olympics, and then we had a big party with our families and got to eat cake!

Olympics day - We wore green and gold and we did tug of war, ninja course, long jump, relay races and other games. We were in groups mixed with all the other classes.

Grandparents day - We made shields with our surname on them and decorated them with things that are special to our own families.

Police visit - Sergeant Burnham (Lacey, Year 5) came to visit us. First he told us all about how the police can help us. Then we got to hold his vest and see how heavy it was, we got to do our own fingerprints with the magic magnetic brush, and we got to try the handcuffs on. After that we went outside and got to see inside a real police car and we watched the lights and sirens go off.

Emma helping - We have had Emma (sister of Josh, Year 6) helping in our class sometimes - she helps with our work and is great at colouring in.

Student led conference - We told our parents about what we have learned, and taught them how to play one of our favourite maths games.

Celebration of Learning - We enjoyed sharing our learning about good and poor choices with everyone, especially giving out our sticker badges for good choices.
