Farewell Year 12
The Bayside community is invited to join us on Tuesday 22 October from 9:00 am-10:00 am in the K-Block Gymnasium for our Year 12 Thank you Assembly where our graduating class of 2024 officially say goodbye to the College. Students will be sharing their schooling highlights and saying goodbye to teachers and friends.
Primary Reading Hour
Families are invited to the rescheduled Reading Hour event on Monday 28 October in the Library from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Students can wear comfy clothes or pyjamas and bring along a gold coin for a hot chocolate and puppet show performed by our friends at Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle.
Notice of Intention to Withdraw from the College
Planning is well underway for the 2025 school year. If you are intending to withdraw a child/ren from the college at the end of this year please ensure you provide the necessary written full term’s notice before the start of Term 4. This should be emailed to both the Registrar registrar@baysidecc.vic.edu.au and Principal, Mr Andrew Manning andrew.manning@baysidecc.vic.edu.au
A full term’s fees will be charged where the required full term’s notice is not provided. We recommend you provide notice even if your plans are not yet confirmed.
2025 Payment Arrangement Form Reminder
This is a friendly reminder to those yet to complete the Payment Arrangement Form for 2025 sent out to all families last week. Thank you if you have already completed the form and submitted your intentions.
Every family who has a child/ren enrolled for 2025 must complete the form, even if you intend to pay your 2025 fees the same way as this year. Please remember the full year in advance 7% discount only applies to payments made via EFT or direct debit.
Your answers will be used to generate individual Family Fee Statements, including applicable tuition fees and with nominated payment discounts applied. These will subsequently be emailed to families.

2025 Ventura Bus Routes
Please be advised that the Bus Routes for 2025 will remain the same.

If your child is intending to use the Bus Service for 2025, we require the 2025 Bus Form completed https://forms.gle/jnR5Df3kWbnJtrUQ9 prior to 1st November 2024.
Refer to the 2025 Schedule of Fees and Charges to view the 2025 Bus Charges. To ensure a bus pass can be issued to your child for 2025, your attention to this is appreciated.

Canteen News
We are excited to announce that icy poles will be available for purchase at lunchtime from Wednesdays to Fridays, beginning Wednesday 23 October. All Primary students are welcome to buy an icy pole for just $1.00.
The North Canteen will close for the year on Thursday 14 November and the South Canteen will close on Friday 22 November.

Bayside Raiders Basketball
Thank you to everyone who joined a team and completed their registration for this season. We are still seeking U16 girls to play on a Tuesday night in the Western Port competition (Somerville Recreation Centre).
We are also still looking for more U8 and U10 girls to form potential team. If your daughter is interested in joining please email Ulli on president.bccraiders@gmail.com

Weekly Jogging Club
Sessions run every Monday at lunchtime for students and every Friday morning for students and families from 8:15 am to 8:45 am on the oval. Whether you're looking to boost your fitness, enjoy the fresh air, or meet new friends, our club offers the perfect opportunity to do so.
Bayside Community Playgroup
The Bayside Community Playgroup runs every Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am for children aged 0-5 years for indoor play, craft, painting, creative play, story time and sing-a-long while parents and carers supervise playtime and enjoy a cuppa and light morning tea. Cost is $2 per child to attend each week. Please pack a nut-free snack and water bottle for your child. No booking required.
Bayside Prayer Group
The Bayside Prayer Group meet every Monday morning from 9:00 am in the Community Room (M2) to pray for the College. Parents, carers and staff are welcome to join at any time. The group also ocassionally meet at 7.30 pm on Monday evenings during daylight savings to walk around the College grounds. For more information, please contact Bek Shelling on 0403 804 972.
