🛠️ Working Bee Success – New Junior Sandpit Underway!
Â
What an amazing effort from our wonderful parent volunteers at this weekend’s working bee!
Â
Our dedicated helpers spent two solid hours digging out all the old sand, rocks and debris to prepare the space for the next stage of our brand-new junior sandpit. It was a big job, and we are so grateful for the energy and teamwork shown by everyone involved.
Â
The next step in the project will see Jack, our maintenance legend, replacing the wooden walls and installing a special child-safe lining inside the pit. Once this is complete, we will refill the sandpit with fresh new sand and add toys ready for fantastic play experiences during break times.
Â
The entire project will take approximately two weeks to complete. During this time, our junior students will need to choose alternative play options — but we promise it will be worth the wait! When finished, the sandpit will be better than ever.
Â
A heartfelt thank you again to our incredible volunteers and to Jack, who continually works behind the scenes to make our school a better place for our students.
Â
We truly appreciate our community spirit!

Volunteers Needed – Join Our School Community
Â
We are currently seeking regular parent and grandparent volunteers to support some wonderful programs across our school.
Â
We would especially love assistance with:
- School Canteen – particularly on Fridays
- Farm to Table Program – fortnightly on Wednesdays
School Garden – helping with watering, weeding and general upkeep
Â
These programs provide rich learning opportunities for our students and help strengthen our sense of community. Your time — even a small regular commitment — makes a meaningful difference.
Â
Please note that all volunteers must hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Â
If you are available and would like to be involved, please contact the school office. We would be so grateful for your support.
