In addition, please note that Monday 9th March is a Public Holiday, and there will be no school on this day.
We look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday 10th March, refreshed and ready for the week ahead!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for last week’s Welcome Picnic. It was fantastic to see so many families gathering together, connecting with one another and celebrating the start of the school year.
The afternoon was filled with community spirit and plenty of fun. The face painting was a huge hit with our students, the BBQ and ice cream truck kept everyone well fed, and we were treated to a wonderful performance by the Koonung Clarinet Group, which added a special touch to the event.
Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a supportive and engaged school community. Thank you to our staff and volunteers who helped make the afternoon such a success, and to all of our families for bringing such warmth and enthusiasm. Thank you also to one of our parents, Lou, for the wonderful photos as highlighted above!
We look forward to many more opportunities to come together throughout the year.

We are thrilled to share that our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Tree is now completely full, with 40 Birds proudly perched on the branches.
This means our incredible students have earned over 4,000 positive behaviour acknowledgement Eggsalready this term, an outstanding achievement.
Each Egg represents moments of Compassion, Courage, Ambition and Creativity shown across our classrooms and playground. Seeing our Tree flourish so quickly is a powerful reminder of the positive culture our students create every day.
Our newly elected Junior School Council will meet early next week to plan our very first Celebration Dayfor 2026, and we look forward to sharing the details with you soon.
Thank you to our students for living our values so consistently and to our staff and families for supporting and reinforcing these behaviours every day.
What a wonderful start to the year. 🌟

We are delighted to congratulate our newly elected Years 3–6 Junior School Council Representatives for 2026. These student leaders were presented with their official JSC badge at assembly last week.
These students have been chosen by their peers to represent student voice across our school, and we are incredibly proud of the leadership, courage and thoughtfulness they demonstrated throughout the election process. Speaking in front of classmates and sharing ideas for improving our school takes confidence and commitment, and every candidate should feel proud of their efforts.
Our Junior School Council plays an important role in strengthening our school community, promoting positive initiatives and ensuring student perspectives are heard and valued. We look forward to working closely with our 2026 representatives as they contribute ideas, lead projects and help make our school an even better place for everyone.
Congratulations to all of our newly elected leaders. We cannot wait to see the positive impact you will make.
Junior School Council Representatives for years F-2 will be selected in Term 3.
