School Wide Positive Behaviour @ RPS

As we settle into a new school year, it has been wonderful to see our students displaying our school values of R.I.C.K:
Respect, Inclusion, Collaboration and Kindness
We are seeing it everywhere, in the classroom, in the yard and other areas of the school. Teachers have been excitedly stamping student values cards, putting a spotlight on positive behaviour. We are very proud of them!
All students at RPS contributed to this whole-school values display in the corridor, creating James Goldcrown–inspired love hearts.
James Goldcrown is an English street artist who often uses large, brightly coloured heart shapes in his work. The hearts in his murals are a universal symbol of love and happiness — something that everyone everywhere can understand, no matter what language they speak. His art is about joy, kindness and connection. The bright hearts make people feel happy and remind them to spread love. This shared project reinforces our school values while giving students the opportunity to work with colour, symbolism, and bold design in a collaborative way.
