Important Announcements

Amendments to Aubin Grove Private Bus Service stop times in the morning
Families that either catch or reside along the Aubin Grove private bus service are encouraged to review the stop times for the morning service as there have been some slight adjustments to these following the first few weeks of Term 1 and actual traffic and timing data being received. The scheduled pickup time from Stop 3 onwards has been shifted later and families should review this to ensure they are aware of the updated times.

Senior School Wellbeing Update – Introducing the Friendly Schools Program
As we begin the 2026 school year, I am pleased to share that our commitment to nurturing a safe, supportive and connected learning environment continues with the ongoing implementation of the Friendly Schools program. Many families from our Junior School will already be familiar with this evidence‑based social‑emotional learning framework. This year, we are proud to confirm that Friendly Schools is meaningfully embedded across the Senior School curriculum.
Students will encounter Friendly Schools concepts through Health, Life Skills, Tutor Group and the Peer Support program, where they will continue building skills that strengthen respectful relationships, emotional intelligence, problem‑solving and resilience.
To support our philosophy of partnership between home and school, the College Courier will feature regular wellbeing articles throughout the year. These will help families better understand our approach to cultivating a positive school culture, and will offer practical guidance on how to support your child, particularly if concerns arise around friendships, bullying or online interactions.
How can families help create a supportive school culture?
We can help children feel safer and happier at school by demonstrating that families and the College work together as partners. The support of families is very important in creating a friendly and supportive school environment.
How can families help create our supportive school culture?
- Get to know our College’s behavioural policies that address bullying/cyberbullying, and discuss these with your child/ren.
- Maintain regular contact with your child/ren’s teachers.
- Try to attend school functions to demonstrate your support for your child/ren and the College.
- Read the Courier and discuss items of interest with your child/ren.
- Model a positive attitude toward school and encourage your child/ren to see the positive aspects of College life.
- If there is a problem with your child/ren at school, try to work together with the College to overcome the problem. This shows a committed partnership between families and the College to work towards positive solutions.
