Avalon 2025 Careers Day 

It was exciting to attend the Avalon Air Show this year on March 28th. 

There were ten Year 11 Physics students and Mr MacDonald who left Rochester at 6 am and returned at 7:30 pm. They were among over 5,000 from across the state for a one-of-a-kind experience. 

It’s was all about choosing your adventure! Whether it’s exploring career pathways, engaging with hands-on activities, or connecting with industry experts, they had the freedom to explore, engage, and discover at their own pace. Seriously, how cool.

Some of the activities involved simulators for aviation, submarines and the army. There was drone racing by the Royal Australian Air Force, as well as demonstrations of military aircraft showcasing precision, alongside civil performers wowing the crowd with incredible stunts.
