VET 2025

VET classes have started well in 2025, with 32 students completing a VET subject offsite each week. 

VET subjects being completed at Bendigo TAFE in Echuca include Construction Pathways, Building and Construction, Engineering, Electrotechnology and Early Childhood Education and Care. We also have students completing Cookery and Visual Arts at Echuca College. VET subject being run offsite are held on either a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Students catch a bus to and from Echuca each week.

In addition to these VET courses being run offsite, our Year 10 students are completing a VET subject at RSC as part of their school program. These subjects are Hospitality, Horticulture and Sports Coaching. We also have some VCE students completing VET Furniture Making Pathways at RSC, along with students completing VET Animal Studies and VET Equine by Distance Education through GO TAFE. 

VET subjects provide a chance to learn practical skills that assist students in thinking about their future, potentially leading to employment and career opportunities.
