Calm at the Forefront – Student Workshops with Jessica Brown and Kirsty Edwards

We are excited to welcome Kirsty Edwards and Jess Brown, who will be running workshops with our Year 2–6 students on Monday, 24th March, focusing on neurodiversity and inclusion.

"Neurodiversity is something to be celebrated and understood. In our student sessions, we explore what it means to be a ‘brain ally’—meeting differences with curiosity and compassion. We unpack the many types of brains in our community, recognising both their strengths and challenges. Together, we discuss how we can support our friends and peers, creating a classroom where everyone can thrive. By the end of the session, students will understand that all brains are unique, all brains are wonderful, and all brains belong."

These sessions are a fantastic opportunity to foster understanding, empathy, and inclusivity within our school community.
