Da Vinci Decathlon

On Tuesday 1st April at St. Patrick's College we had seven Year 9s and six Year 10s compete in 2025's Victorian Australian Regional Da Vinci Decathlon. 

 

The students were very excited and competed against many local and regional schools in the following categories:

•    English 

•    Mathematics 

•    Ideation 

•    Arts and Poetry 

•    Cartography 

•    Code Breaking 

•    Science 

•    Creative Producers 

•    Engineering 

•    Legacy (general knowledge)

 

I am delighted to announce this was a successful day with the two teams collectively bringing home eighteen awards:

 

Year 9 - Overall 3rd Place 

•    English - First Place 

•    Mathematics - Second Place 

•    Cartography - Second Place 

•    Legacy (general knowledge) - Second Place 

•    Ideation - Third Place 

•    Arts and Poetry - Third Place 

•    Science - Third Place 

•    Engineering - Third Place

•    Maths - First Place 

•    Cartography - First Place 

•    Science - Second Place 

•    Ideation - Third Place 

•    English - Third Place
