The children in N9 each created some monsters, and with their buddies in F3 they imagined what their habitats would look like. The Receptions had a Term 1 focus on using describers and using this learning, they and their buddies worked together to compose a description which they input into AI to create an image of the monster’s habitat. They then worked together to refine their descriptions to more closely resemble the habitats that they had envisioned.

Anzac Day is a day to remember and honour Australians and New Zealanders who have served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. It specifically marks the first major action of Australian and New Zealand soldiers in World War I at Gallipoli on April 25, 1915.

Students in N5 and F2 created an ANZAC Silhouette art piece to commemorate the soldiers who have fought in war. They selected a template of their choice, including designs of soldiers, army tanks, donkeys and poppies. They then created a sunset in the background using blending techniques and the art mediums of water paints and oil pastels. Here are some of our final pieces.
