Years F & 1

I am super proud of all the hard work the little legends in the F/1 room have put in this term. Seeing how much growth they have all made is incredible and I can't wait for it all to happen again next term. Have a lovely break!

In between our number work we have been looking at shapes. The students have been identifying how many edges and corners are on a range of 2D shapes. The students had a go at making a 2D monster using a range of shapes. We took a walk outside looking for different shapes that can we can see in the yard. 

In art, they had a go at using watercolour paints to create a bunny. It was really impressive to see how much time and care the students took with their work. 

Our Sounds Write has been going lovely and the students are quite confident with the sounds we have learnt this term. Even look at how much their writing of the letters have improved over the term. 

In science we finished off the term created a shield the students would use to protect themselves in case the dinosaurs were ever to attack. Students created a dinosaur to go along with their shield making sure they included the elements they could see on the dinosaur. 

In humanities, students had a go at creating a model of a special item they all owned. It was so great learning about the different special items and why they are special to the students.
