Personal Space
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Shelley, our School Health Nurse, to speak with students about an important topic—personal space. Shelley is a valuable resource available throughout the year to support students with any health concerns or questions they may have. If students ever need to speak with Shelley, they can either ask her directly or speak with me to arrange a time.
During her visit, Shelley addressed the importance of respecting personal space. Recently, we have noticed a few incidents where students have entered the personal space of others without their invitation. While these actions may sometimes seem like harmless jokes, it is crucial to recognise that they can have lasting effects on others.
Respecting personal space is an essential part of creating a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Understanding boundaries and ensuring our actions are appropriate helps foster positive relationships and mutual respect among students.
We appreciate Shelley taking the time to share her insights and remind us all of the importance of being mindful of others. Thank you, Shelley, for your support and guidance!
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
