Education Week

Brookside will be celebrating Education Week from May 19th to May 23rd. The theme for this year is "Celebration of Cultures" highlighting the diversity of communities and the importance of creating safe and welcoming learning environments for all children. Brookside parents and guardians will once again be invited into P-6 classrooms, where they will have the opportunity to participate in learning activities with their children. Parents of students in Years 7-9 will also be invited to attend a special lesson with their children. Keep an eye on Compass for more information regarding dates and times soon.

Attitude to School Survey

All schools participate in the Attitudes to School Survey once a year. At Brookside, students in years 4-9 will have the opportunity to complete the survey. The survey provides data that is invaluable in understanding the student perspective of the school and helps schools to improve the schooling experience. Data collected includes how students feel in relation to their school, their learning, peer relationships, resilience, bullying, health and wellbeing, physical activity, and life in general. If there are any parents or guardians who want to have their children excluded from the survey, please contact Mr Dale Thompson at the College.
