FREE Programs

Programs that may be of interest to parents in your school community –Tuning into Kids and Building Better Behaviour. Both these programs are government funded so free to attend, however bookings are essential as places are limited. Attached are the flyers and below is the details for you to share with any parents you know who may be interested.

 

Tuning in to Kids 

A 6-week emotion coaching program for parents and carers of 3-12 year olds who wish to:

  • Learn parenting strategies to help your child deal with uncomfortable emotions, including anger, anxiety, sadness and jealousy.
  • Improve communication and connection with your child.
  • Become an emotionally intelligent parent

When: Wednesday 12th February to 19th March  2025 (6 week program)

Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon

Where: Online via Zoom. 

Cost: Free to attend

Building Better Behaviour in the Early Years

A 6-week program is for parents and carers of young children aged 2-7 years who wish to:

  • Understand why young children behave the way they do.
  • Learn strategies to manage challenging behaviour and set boundaries.
  • Deal with frustration, anxiety and other uncomfortable feelings
  • Become a calmer and happier parent

When: Monday 17th  February to 31st March 2025 (no session will run on Labour Day)

Time: 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (6 week program)

Where: Online via Zoom

Cost: Free to attend
