Welcome Back to a New School Year!
Welcome back to another exciting school year! I hope you all had a wonderful and restful break. Over the holidays, our school received some refreshing updates, with our dedicated gardener tidying the grounds and gardens to ensure a welcoming environment for all. Inside, both buildings have been revitalised with new bag boxes and display boards in the hallways, providing fantastic spaces to showcase student work throughout the year.
Supervision Before and After School
For the safety of all students, it is important that they arrive at school from 8:45am, when staff are on duty around the grounds and at the Turning Circle. Any students being dropped off before 8:45am should be attending OSHC, as there is no supervision available before this time.
Teachers are on duty around the ground and at the Turning Circle until 3:45pm to ensure a safe pickup for all students. After this time, the back gate and the gate near the basketball court will be locked by staff. Any students still waiting to be collected after 3:45pm will be taken to the office. If they remain in the office after 4:00pm, they will be taken to the MPC building to attend OSHC. We appreciate your support in collecting students on time.
Turning Circle Safety Reminder
Ensuring the safety of all students during drop-off and pick-up is our top priority. Families are reminded that students may be dropped off from 8:45am, when teachers are on duty. Please follow these Turning Circle rules:
- No overtaking at any time.
- Drive all the way down to the orange bollard before stopping.
- Children may only enter and exit the car within the yellow safety strip along the curb.
- Children must enter and exit via the left-hand passenger doors for their safety.

New Daily Timetable and Bell Times for 2025
We have updated our daily schedule to ensure a smooth and structured school day. Please take note of the new bell times:
- 8:55am – Music plays for students to enter the classroom, unpack, and get ready for learning.
- 8:58am – Learning bell rings.
- 9:00 – 10:00am – Session 1 Learning Block.
- 10:00 – 11:00am – Session 2 Learning Block.
- 11:00 – 11:10am – Eating time in class.
- 11:10 – 12:00pm – Long play break outside.
- 11:58am – 12:00pm - Music plays & bell rings for students and teachers to move to line up areas
- 12:00 – 1:00pm – Session 3 Learning Block.
- 1:00 – 2:00pm – Session 4 Learning Block (includes 10 minutes of eating time in class).
- 2:00 – 2:28pm – Short play break outside.
- 2:28 – 2:30pm - Music plays & bell rings for students and teachers to move to line up areas
- 2:30 – 3:30pm – Session 5 Learning Block.
- 3:30pm – Bell rings for home time dismissal.
