Principal's Message
Welcome to the final three days of Term 4. All students, Kindergarten to Year 6, return on Thursday 6 February 2025.
Thank you for a great year
Thank you, everyone for a great year of learning, play and friendship. It has been a very busy 12 months, with many opportunities and activities enjoyed by all... with the exception the Term 3 instalment of the staff vs students mixed sporting competition, where in a shocking tragedy for the staff, we were handed our first defeat in 10 years! The students' soccer skills and fitness levels this year were just too much for us.
Thank you to our exceptional P&C for their ongoing support of our school and community.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our school and taken the time to acknowledge the work of our school and staff, both publicly and through direct contact. This means a great deal to us.
There is plenty to look forward to next year, with improvements to the pebbled area occurring early in the year, as well as expanded weekly extra-curricular activities, with the planned formation of a Stage 1 choir, 3-6 dance group and 3-6 boxing fitness options joining the orchestra, Stage 2 and Stage 3 choirs as optional activities. These are in addition to previously planned activities, including An Evening with ACOS, Ben Venue has Talent, Opera House Choir, Stage 2 camp at Lake Keepit, Stage 3 Great Aussie Bush camp, visits to Thalgarrah for all students, The BVPS and P&C Multicultural Street Food Fair, and much, much more.
Farewell Year 6
We all wish our graduating students farewell and the very best for their next steps as they enter high school. Last week, Year 6 was recognised at our final assembly. This week, students will enjoy a formal graduation dinner, water fight and guard of honour on their final day.
