Art Show Night & Scarecrow Garden

We were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather for our Art Show night, and what an incredible showcase of creativity from our students! Our garden is now filled with colourful and imaginative scarecrows — and it seems the pesky birds have decided to keep their distance... for te

It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying a walk through our vegetable garden and taking the time to vote for their favourite scarecrow. Thank you for being part of such a fun and creative celebration!

We truly thank all the classes to think outside the box in creating their scarecrows - recycling and reusing was encouraged and did not disappoint. We saw empty milk bottles, painted tyres, hoses, ripped fabric, empty cans, broken mops, handles, re-writeable cd's from the 90's, flat balls, reused clothing and footwear to name a few. We hope this has inspired you and your family to create art for your garden using recyclable materials.

Congratulations to Prep and Spongebob Squarepants for being voted MOST POPULAR SCARECROW - It was a very close count with Year 2's gorgeous Tanzy Angel coming in a close second.

Well done to all classes.

Garden Club - Wednesday lunchtimes

Our Garden Club continues to thrive, with many students joining us each Wednesday at lunchtime to plant, weed, observe, taste our crops, and care for our land. We always welcome new members — encourage your child to come along and get their hands dirty! We’re also lucky to have Anne, the church gardener, join us regularly. The children love spending time with her and learning from her incredible gardening know-how.

We look forward to watching our fruits grow now.
