Disney Frozen Jr School Musical
We’re all so excited for next week’s production of Frozen! A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts throughout the year — from our Ladies Lunch, Golf Day and other wonderful events. Your generosity has helped fund the fabulous make-up and costumes that will bring our show to life. PA will also be providing the snacks for students at the performances.
What a joy it is to celebrate the incredible talent, creativity, and teamwork of our students. Special thanks to Libby Mullhall, her amazing crew, and of course, our shining stars — the children!
Get ready for a heart-warming, joy-filled performance… and remember — break a leg!
World Teachers’ Day
Thursday October 23 we celebrate World Teachers’ Day — a chance to recognise and thank our amazing teachers at Sacred Heart! We are so grateful for all that you do each and every day to inspire, support, and care for our students. To show our appreciation, the PA will be providing a special lunch to say thank you for the incredible work they do for our school community.
Thank you, teachers — you truly make a difference!
Upcoming Events
Fun Bun and Colour Run 2025
This year's Colour Run is set to be a fun-filled, whole-school event designed to bring our community together whilst raising funds for our new sensory and imaginary play space. More details to come but save the date Friday November 14.
Christmas Market – December 4
We are excited to announce that a small Christmas Market will be held as part of our Christmas Carols on Thursday 4 December. The market will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase our school to the local community, strengthen connections within our Sacred Heart community, and raise funds for our planned sensory/quiet play area in the quadrangle.
A big thank you to Lucinda, Bec, Liz and Marlo for volunteering to be part of the organising committee. If you’d like to join them, please email sacredheartpa3101@gmail.com
or let your Parent Rep know, and they can pass your details on. There will be a Christmas Market Committee meeting this term.
We are also seeking donations from both school and local businesses, as well as expressions of interest from anyone who would like to run a stall at the market. To get involved or donate, please contact us at sacredheartpa3101@gmail.com and we’ll share further details.
More information about the event and ways you can help will be shared over the coming weeks – stay tuned!

Sacred Heart Meals Service
What is the meals service?
The Sacred Heart Meals Service is available to all Sacred Heart families that require some practical help in the form of meals at a time of need. This may be due to a very happy occasion such as a new birth in the family, or in more difficult circumstances such as a death or illness in a family.
How does it work?
The Meals Service Coordinators can be contacted by a teacher, class rep, member of the Parents Association, a friend within the school or the family members themselves. The coordinators would then contact the family to chat about what would be helpful (e.g. how often, favourite meals, dietary requirements etc) and then coordinate the service, requesting assistance from the relevant year level.
It’s important to note that we are very careful in being discreet at all times and maintaining confidentiality, ensuring the family are happy with what information (if any) is passed on to those we are asking to assist.
We can be contacted via the following methods:
Amy McIvor
Ph 0411 034 463
Caroline O’Sullivan
Ph 0419 100 964
Please feel free to reach out to either of us with any questions, we are here to help!
Kind regards,
Caroline O’Sullivan (Billy Year 4) and Amy McIvor (Rafferty Year 3)
