Last Monday at QPAC, Marist College’s Awards Night featured exceptional performances from the Chamber Choir, Symphony Orchestra, Big Band 1 and student band The Waiting List. Each ensemble showcased the talent and dedication of our student musicians after a full day of rehearsals.
Congratulations to Year 12 student George Pollard, who received a special award for his outstanding commitment to the arts.
It was a memorable evening celebrating the vibrant musical spirit of Marist.

Last Friday, staff and students were treated to a special lunchtime concert featuring acclaimed jazz vocalist Michelle Nicolle, one of the featured artists of the Brisbane International Jazz Festival. We were grateful to host such an accomplished performer, whose artistry and generosity made a lasting impression. The concert was both inspiring and enriching for our students, offering a glimpse into the world of professional jazz and the joy of live performance.

Thank you to Ms Samantha Blakeney, Ms Melanie Stewart and students Eamonn Kneen, George Pollard, Killian Menzies, Oliver Bishop and Xander Keane for their musical contribution to the Marist Schools Australia Mass on Saturday 18th of October. Our singers combined with students from Mt Maria to lead the Mass singing and represented the College admirably.
