Middle School News
Year 7 to Year 9
Term Four has kicked off with great energy and enthusiasm across Middle School! With the warmer weather arriving, students have returned in good spirits, embracing the summer uniform options while still navigating the occasional cool and wet day.
Our Year 7 students showed great courage during their vaccination day in Week 1. Thanks to the caring team of nurses and the support of our dedicated Year 7 Coordinator, Miss MacDonald, all students were well looked after and returned to class smoothly. For those who missed out, a catch-up session is scheduled for Friday 28th November (Week 7).
A big thank you to our Learning Area Coordinators, Mr Thurkle (Maths) and Miss York (English), for leading the way in ensuring all Middle School students completed their PAT assessments. These assessments help us track student progress and identify areas for growth, allowing teachers to tailor learning experiences that support each student’s development.
Term 4 promises to be both productive and enjoyable. Alongside exciting activities and events, we encourage all students to stay focused on their academic goals. With End-of-Year Reports approaching, this is a valuable time for students to reflect, strive for improvement, and finish the year strong.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to sharing more highlights with you as the term progresses.
Warm regards,
Mr Brendan McGrath
Head of Middle School (Year 7 to Year 9)
