What a fabulous morning we had on our Mission Fun Day! Please enjoy some photos from the day.

St. Vincent De Paul and the Missionaries of Charity were very thankful for the donations that we gave them from our Deny and Donate day. We also raised just under $2000 for the people in Zambia! Congratulations on such an amazing effort! What a successful Mission Week we have had in 2025!
We had another amazing turnout for our Grandfriend's Day celebrations last week. The light refreshments in Kenna Hall were fabulous and I must send a huge thank you to our PACE Committee for all the hard work they put into making this such a special event.
I heard many positive comments about our Open Classrooms on this day. It is really lovely that we are able to share our school with our community. Finally, a big thank you to our Year Five students and teachers on the beautiful Liturgy that they presented to us. It really did make our Grandfriend's feel special!

We were very lucky to have a visit from the Migrant Jubilee Cross for a short time on Monday. This special cross was made for the Catholic Church in Australia. On the cross you’ll find the constellation of the Southern Cross, a symbol many Australians know. It also carries relics (these are physical reminders) of the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary and Joseph) and of Australia’s first saint, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.
The cross and boat together symbolize two big ideas:
* The cross stands for faith, hope and the Christian Church.
* The boat shape reminds us of a journey — like when people leave one place and travel to a new place to make a home. Many migrants do exactly that.
The cross celebrates the gifts, talents and courage that migrant and refugee communities bring to Australia and to the Church. It also reminds everyone that the Church and the community are places of welcome, refuge and solidarity (supporting each other) for all people. The tour is called the “Pilgrimage of the Migrant Jubilee Cross” and it runs from October 2025 to October 2026.
The cross will visit many dioceses and parishes across Australia so that lots of people can see it, reflect on its meaning and celebrate the role of migrants in our society. By moving around, it gives different communities a chance to come together, to welcome migrants, to say thank you for the contributions they make, and to grow in love and support for one another. It was beautiful to witness and pray with the Migrant Jubilee Cross.
