Socktober

October is World Mission Month, a time for us to celebrate and support the vital work of missionaries who serve communities in need around the world. Our school is recognising this through the Catholic Mission initiative - Socktober. Here is a video with a little more information for your reference. Over the next 2 weeks of October, we are teaching the students to build empathy and understanding. I am pleased to share an update with you regarding our Socktober fundraising so far.

We kindly ask for your help in donating via QKR over the next 3 weeks of October to help children in Zambia. All funds raised collectively will make a positive difference. 

Below are some examples of targets you and your students can aim to reach:

• $30 can help provide fertiliser to grow healthy, nutrient-rich crops.

• $50 can help provide enough maize seed to farm 5 acres.

• $100 can help purchase farm management training for a local.

• $200 can contribute towards Maize storage equipment.
