Colouring the Conversation A Fantastic End to Term 3!

The final day of Term 3 was one to remember, as Heathmont College came together for the Walk-a-thon and Colour Run: Colour the Conversation. The event was a huge success, bringing colour, energy, and community spirit to the school while supporting an important cause - youth mental health.

Students and staff from all year levels took part in the fun-filled afternoon, walking and running their way around the course while being showered in vibrant colour. Laughter, music, and smiles filled the air, creating a fantastic atmosphere to finish the term on a positive note.

The event raised valuable funds to support Speak and Share, a youth mental health organisation that delivers the People Before Students program. This program, which Heathmont College plans to implement in 2026, encourages open conversations around mental health, peer connection, and wellbeing across the school community.

Adding to the excitement, students enjoyed a sausage sizzle, raffle prizes, and an out-of-uniform day, all contributing to the day’s fundraising total. The Speak and Share merchandise raffle was particularly popular, with plenty of friendly competition to take home the prize!

A huge thank you goes to all students, staff, and parent volunteers who helped make the day such a success. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, and support truly brought our theme - Colour the Conversation - to life.

Events like this remind us of the importance of connection, wellbeing, and community spirit at Heathmont College. We’re already looking forward to building on this momentum in 2026 when Speak and Share joins us to continue the conversation."
