Health and Wellbeing Week Term 3, 15–19 September

As Term 3 wrapped up, our school came together for an incredible Health and Wellbeing Week, packed with student-led activities, laughter, teamwork, and important conversations. It was a celebration of connection, community, and care — all while raising funds for our 2026 wellbeing incursions in partnership with mental health charity Speak Share.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our school community, we raised funds to support future initiatives that will help foster open, healthy conversations about mental health and wellbeing.
Week Highlights:
Monday – R U OK? Day & Cookie Stall The week kicked off with a sweet touch! Senior leaders Riley, Liv, Jas, Pepsi, and Lil, alongside the Wellbeing Team and with support from our amazing Food Tech staff, spent the morning baking delicious cookies decorated with thoughtful icing details. The stall was a huge success, selling out most of the treats on Day 1! A big thank you to everyone who helped spread the R U OK? message in such a creative way.
Tuesday – 3v3 Basketball Tournament What started as a 3v3 competition quickly escalated into a full-court showdown! Organised by Riley, Riley, and Marleigh, the basketball event drew big crowds. The energy was electric, especially when younger year levels took on the Year 12s. Let’s just say: the juniors had the skills, the seniors had the height — and everyone had a blast.
Wednesday – Staff vs Student Trivia Brains were buzzing midweek during the staff vs student trivia match. With help from quizmasters Bella, Pepsi, and Liv, the students put up a tough fight — and with more staff than students, the odds still weren’t in the teachers’ favour (despite Mr Matheson’s feeble attempts). A fun and clever showdown that proved students know more than just their school subjects!
Thursday – Staff vs Student Dodgeball The energy didn't slow down as the gym filled with students eager to take on the staff in dodgeball. Led by Marleigh, Ellie, and Riley, this event had the crowd cheering (or laughing?) and the staff dodging. Spoiler: the students won. Again.
Friday – Walkathon & Colour Run: "Colour the Conversation" 🎨👟 To round out the week and the Term, the entire college took part in a walkathon during session 4, followed by our vibrant Colour Run: "Colour the Conversation". It was a joyful, relaxed afternoon, giving everyone a chance to connect, unwind, and celebrate the end of term together!
Thank you to all the students, staff, and families who participated, contributed, and supported the week.
Your involvement made this event meaningful, memorable, and fun.
