Term 4 Diary Dates

Dear Year One families,

We have an exciting and busy final term ahead! It is jam packed with experiences from all learning areas, including Inquiry, Music and end of year celebrations. It will be wonderful to spend quality time with the students before sending them up to Year Two!

Please take note of the important dates throughout the term:

Week 1 

• Friday 10th of October: 1E Performing the National Anthem at Assembly 

Week 2

• Friday 17th of October: 1C Performing the National Anthem at Assembly 

Week 3 

• Wednesday 22nd of October: Parent Helpers commence  

Week 4 

• Thursday 30th of October:Taiko Drumming Incursion 

Week 5 

• Monday 3rd of November: Curriculum Day
• Tuesday 4th of November: Melbourne Cup, public holiday

Week 6 

• Tuesday 11th of November: Remembrance Day Assembly 
• Year 1 Exhibition of Learning (more details to follow)
• Friday 14th of November: 1A Performing the National Anthem at Assembly 

Week 7

• Friday 21st of November: 1B Performing the National Anthem at Assembly 

Week 8

• Tuesday 25th of November: Inquisitive Kids Push and Pull incursion 
• Wednesday 26th of November: Whole School Transition 1
• Friday 28th of November: 1D Performing the National Anthem at Assembly 
• Mini Olympics (formal date to be confirmed closer to the event)

Week 9 

• Wednesday 3rd of December:Whole School Transition 2

Week 10

•  Monday 8th of December: Life Saving Carnival
• Thursday 11th of December: Step-Up Morning (students meet their Year Two teacher/s and class)
• Friday 12th of December: HPS Christmas Carols. 2pm

Week 11 

• Monday 15th of December: Curriculum Day (planning)
• Wednesday 17th of December: Reports Released 
• Thursday 18th of December: Year 1 Movie Day 
• Friday 19th of December: Last day of school
