Music Concerts

Chamber Music Concert  Tuesday 11 June, 2024 - Music Performance Theatre - 12.50pm

Parents, carers and students are reminded of the lunchtime concert on Tuesday 11 June, commencing at 12.50pm in the Performance Theatre featuring our Junior Guitar Ensemble, Junior Cello Ensemble, Senior Guitar Ensemble and some groups from our Senior Chamber Music Program.

Strings and Orchestra Evening Concert - Friday 21 June, 2024 - Alexander Hall - 6.00pm

Parents, carers and students are reminded of our Strings and Orchestras concert, on Friday 21 June, featuring our Junior String Ensemble (Yrs 2-4) Junior String Ensemble (Yrs 5-6), Junior String Quartet together with our Dulcie Holland Orchestra, Senior Orchestra, Senior String Quartet, Tango Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra.

Year 4 Excursion - Maritime Museum Sydney - Thursday 13 June, 2024

On Thursday 13 June, 2024 an excursion to the Maritime Museum has been organised for students in Year 4 (a permission link was sent to parents on Wednesday 29 May - please search SLIP FROM KAMBALA in your email inbox). 

 

Students will travel by bus to the museum and return back to Kambala in the afternoon in time for carline and/or extra curricular activities. 

Students will leave school at 8:30am and return to school at 2:30pm. Please ensure your daughter is on time for prompt bus departure. 

 

On this excursion, students should apply sunscreen prior to arriving at school. They must wear their sports uniform (track pants, sports and zip jackets - no fleeces!), sneakers, sports cap and a yellow ribbon. They are required to bring their own recess, lunch and water bottle, in their KAMBALA black excursion bag. Please pack a Kambala raincoat in case of inclement weather.   

Year 4 Excursion Plan Bee - Tuesday 18 June, 2024

An excursion to The Royal Botanic Gardens on Tuesday 18 June, 2024 has been organised for students in Year 4.

Students will travel by bus from Kambala to The Royal Botanic Gardens. 

 

On this excursion, students should wear their full sports uniform including their Sports Cap, track pants and Zip Jacket (NO FLEECES - Zip Jacket must be worn over their coloured House Polo shirt). Track suit pants may be worn over sports shorts.Please apply SUNSCREEN prior to coming to school. 

 

Students are to arrive at school by 8.00am for immediate roll call and will leave school at 8:20 am SHARP and return to school at 1:00pm and are required to bring their morning tea and water for the day in their BLACK KAMBALA EXCURSION BAG. 

Please note - NO CANTEEN LUNCH ORDERS ON THIS DAY - all food and water must be brought to school in the morning. Girls can leave their lunches at school and take their water bottles and recess in their BLACK KAMBALA EXCURSION Bags to the excursion. 

 

A permission form has already been forwarded to parents.

School Readiness Webinar for Parents of Preparation 2025 girls - Tuesday 18 June, 2024 - 9.00 - 10.00am

Parents of students joining Preparation in 2025 are also warmly invited to our webinar on School Readiness. Mrs Alex Panagopoulos will partner with Active OT (occupational therapists) and Speech Therapists.

An excursion to Centennial Parklands on Monday 24 June 2024 has been organised for students in Year 3.

Students will travel by bus from Kambala to Centennial Parklands.
