Focus on Learning

Stage 1

We have been enjoying the Informative text titled Great White Sharks. We focused on organising our writing under the headings of habitat, diet, appearance and interesting facts. We did a fantastic job at reading, writing and discussing all the information.   

Maths 

During our Maths lessons we have been investigating subtraction. To do this we have been using number lines, numicons, playing cards and counters to support our learning. We recorded our number sentences and what we could use to help on thinkboards.

Music

Stage 1 have loved having Miss Caterer teach music. This week we wrote our own song and then used a  different instruments perform it. ;op
