Virtual STEM Academy

The Virtual STEM Academy is a wonderful initiative that aims to provide enriching programs through an innovative virtual classroom. We have been lucky enough that 2 of our students were selected to participate in this wonderful program this term. Harriet and Caleb have been logging into their virtual classroom and working with students from other schools to complete challenges and projects.

Harriet-

The last couple of weeks have been wonderful with STEM Academy. Each Monday we are chosen to do computational thinking. I love the challenges this course gives me, it helps me understand coding, writing procedures and how to plan stuff. It is a great opportunity.

Caleb-

Virtual STEM Academy is a program were in it you learn stuff about coding and programs, and you get given a task to do each week. This week we had to write a program for a robot. I really enjoy doing it and I can't wait to do it some more.
