Students are working on their sewing skills creating multi-coloured wall hangings based on the artworks of textile artist Elizabeth Pawle. The students have all done a very impressive job so far demonstrating their amazing sewing skills! Using a variety of yarns students are working through various stitching techniques to create their own abstract designs.

In Semester 2, students in Years 9 and 10 have embarked on an exploration of Cafe Culture. The term began with students creating popular breakfast items typically served at cafes, including Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Wraps, French Toast, and Pancake Stacks. As the term progresses, students will expand their repertoire to include a variety of cafe-style dishes while also refining their barista skills.
This semester, we welcome a new group of students to the Food Technology elective. The term started with a focus on safety and hygiene, alongside collaborative work. Students have already prepared Beef Stir Fry and Breakfast Wraps. This week, they will sharpen their knife skills while preparing Minestrone Soup, which will be served with a side of garlic bread.
Congratulations to all Year 5/6 students on the successful creation of their very own Ugly Dolls. Their creativity and perseverance have truly shone through, resulting in a delightful array of unique and imaginative designs.
