Year 7/8 Science

Year 7/8 students have been studying the digestive, circulatory, respiratory and excretory system this term. I would like to thank the Edenhope Butchers for supply us with hearts, lungs and kidneys to dissect.

VM Cooking

VM students cooked Butter Chicken with rice and then made Brownies to enjoy. Great work by all, dishes done and kitchen left clean.

Year 9 Chemistry

During the Year 9 Chemistry unit last term, students made plastic beads from Milk, home made soap and exothermic (heat producing) reactions in plastic bags.

7-8 Experiential Learning

The Year 7/8 students travelled to Hamilton to study Taekwondo with Muhktar. The session focused upon self discipline techniques and respectful attitudes that are the basis of Taekwondo. They also learned some fun moves including the kick.  The highest kick play-off was between Thomas, Marcus and Taewyn with no clear winners.
