Year 10 and 11 Exams Completion

Well done to all of our students who completed their Year 10 and 11 exams this week. We are very proud of all of your efforts and dedication to your studies.

Building works

Starting Monday, we have some building works commencing, to upgrade some of our ramps around the College. There will be some temporary fencing and a site shed located near the staff car park, where many students traditionally leave their bikes. We remind students to leave their bikes in the bike shelter near the STEAM building.

Year 10 Senior Pathways Expo

The Year 10 Senior Pathways Expo was held during iThrive on Tuesday the 18th of June where Year 10 students were able to meet with Classroom Teachers of VCE/VCE VM subjects to gain a greater understanding of the choices available. Teachers provided information regarding their subjects. This information is an important first step in supporting our year 10s in making decisions about their subjects in year 11. It also provided a good opportunity to open these conversations up with your child at home.

Uniform

A reminder that we now have our new uniform chronicle that will notify parents when students are issued a uniform infringement. We have done this to improve communication with our families and are requesting your support. We are seeing many students in non-compliant or non-HGC uniform items. Students should not be wearing hoodies or black long-sleeve tops underneath. Teachers and leaders will contact home further if there are ongoing issues.

Year 10 Formal

It is with great excitement that we invite all Year 10 students to attend this special evening on Friday 16 August from 7:00 pm at The Manor on High in Epping. The night will include a three-course dinner, a DJ and a photo booth. It provides the opportunity for our students to reflect on the year so far and the connections and relationships they have developed with staff and peers. We look forward to celebrating this evening with you and hope this will be a night to remember!
