Charlton College Structured Workplace Learning Program provides students with an opportunity to link with local businesses and learn lifelong skills for future employment.
This week we would like to give a special mention to Ditch Berg, our Year 11 VM student who is currently completing his Structured Workplace Learning placement each Wednesday at Heenan’s Charlton Authorised Newsagents.
Ditch has been restocking shelves, organising displays and helping with a shop clean.
“I’m looking forward to building my employment skills in an industry where I can learn more about how a business operates day to day”, said Ditch.
Many parents and children would also like to thank Ditch for his kitchen skills at Tuesday Tumbling Tots. Ditch’s Yoyos have been a sell out and thoroughly enjoyed by all.
NCLLEN is dedicated to supporting Charlton College students with work-based learning opportunities. This partnership offers students valuable opportunities to build important skills for their future careers.
Thank you, Troy at Heenan’s Charlton Authorised Newsagents for hosting Ditch and your ongoing partnership.
