EarlyAct

Last Friday, we were very excited to have Max from the Rowville-Lysterfield Rotary Club come to Park Ridge to present our amazing EarlyAct Leaders with their badges.  These students are already showing the qualities of dedication, determination and a willingness to “do good for others” and we are proud to have them as our EarlyAct Leaders for 2024.

As you know, the EarlyAct Club have been raising money for the Cancer Council with their Zooper Dooper sales every Tuesday at recess.  In addition to this, they have also been busy making over 400 origami hearts – one for each Park Ridge family.  These hearts went home today with the eldest child in each family.  The idea is to write a message of support (on the front) to someone who is currently fighting cancer or you can write a message in memory of someone who is no longer with us.  If you would like to be involved in this project, please return your heart to Miss McClure’s Classroom (room 20) by Friday March 15th so the EarlyAct Club can begin creating a beautiful display.  If you would like an extra heart/s, these can be collected from the Office.
