Snapshot of Learning in Grade 1 and Grade 2

Year One 

On Monday February 26th, the students from Year One took part in a fun filled camp day. The day started with an exciting cooking adventure during which students created delicious marshmallow 'campfire treats'. They took part in craft activities and had time to enjoy their morning snacks in snug tents alongside their friends. Next, friendly ‘plank building’ competitions engaged the students' competitive spirit and the team work displayed was something to be proud of. Finally, the students gathered to enjoy a movie and popcorn. We are grateful for the opportunity to create lasting memories on the day and we look forward to more adventures ahead!

Year Two 

On Monday 26th February, the Year Two students engaged in an exciting camp day! They began with crafting activities by the cosy "fire" within the classroom and then went on an exciting scavenger hunt around the Year Two area. Following this, they teamed up to construct insect baths and positioned them around the Sensory garden to provide refreshment for all the insects and birds. After their outdoor adventure, they indulged in lolly kebabs and watched the film ‘Lilo and Stitch’, accompanied by delicious chocolate milk. The day concluded with a cosy movie session, as students cuddled up with blankets, toys, and friends.
