Mangrove Warriors

The Mangorve Warriors shared their great work with the cafe community on Friday.  They shared with the parents how they collected seeds, prepared them for planting on bamboo stakes and planted them down at Hastings forshore.  

Next time you are downat Hastings forshore look for the bamboo stalks painted purple on the end. Hopefully you will see a little mangrove seedling that has begun to germinate.
