Year 7 Camp

Year 7 have had a brilliant start to their secondary school year with their Melbourne camp. From a very thought provoking and engaging talk on empathy from The Intersection, to a thrilling experience at the Skydeck and Hardrock Climbing Centre. The MCG was a ball of fun with an amazing moment of celebrity hunting by Mr Zeunert. The students will also wow you with their experience of the longest escalator in the southern hemisphere. Truly a sight.

Year 12 Students & Staff Dinner

A special element of being part of King’s College is the opportunity for Students and Staff to interact in social contexts. One such occasion is the annual Year 12 Students and Staff Dinner in Term 1.

This tradition was started with the very first Year 12 cohort in 2003. Michael Tucker, as the Year 12 Pastoral Care teacher and, back then, Deputy Principal, along with his wife Lyndell, opened their home to the Year 12 students and those who taught Year 12.

This year, the tradition, whilst having relocated to the home of Kathleen Haworth, as the current Year 12 Pastoral Care teacher and Assistant Head of Senior School, and her husband James, has continued. Tuesday 27th February was a beautiful evening for sitting around a firepit, enjoying a BBQ dinner and roasting marshmallows whilst chatting with teachers and peers in a relaxed setting.
