Foundation

Foundation students looked at LINE this week and tried their skill at creating as many lines as they could. Our lines were then used to create a robot on which we will then decorate with even more lines. Take a look at their efforts....

Grade 1 and 2

We continued this week, with our study into Paul Klee's abstract paintings. We focussed on his painting Cat and Bird and Castle and Sun and looked closely at reproducing his geometric shapes and interesting layering of colour. I love the way each student interpreted the images in their own unique way.

Grade 3 and 4

Our Stephanie Alexander Illustrated Recipes are complete! How awesome are the details and the extra care taken to shade with watercolours! Scroll through the images and see if you can recognise any familiar tasty recipes.

Grade 5 and 6

I am so proud of our Grade 5/6 artists and the way they have developed their painting skills to create these incredible Abstract artworks. The colours are rich and applied with care and thought to the contrasts; the details are interesting and draw your eye in to the image and each canvas is unique and a representation of the creator. Take some time to look closely at each one. You will be amazed!
