District and Division Swimming Results
Congratulations to our Mullum swimmers – Adrian G and Zoe C. On Monday 26th February they both competed in the Warrandyte South District Swimming Carnival. Zoe came first in her 50m freestyle heat and 1st overall in her 50m backstroke event. Adrian also came 2nd in his freestyle heat and 1st overall in his 50m backstroke event.
Yesterday, Adrain and Zoe competed in the Maroondah Division Swimming Carnival held at Aquanation. Both students swam well in their individual 50m backstroke events. We are very proud of both of you!!
Swimming is a very important skill. Hopefully, we will have more Mullum competitors next year, as swimming is the only sport that can save your life.
Ultimate Frisbee – Sporting Schools Grant
This week classes began the unit of work ‘Ultimate Frisbee’. Students in Grades 2 to 6 will be involved in two Ultimate Frisbee incursions between now and the end of term. Foundation and Grade 1 classes will be involved in teacher led frisbee sessions.
