Resilience Survey Project 2025
Resilience Survey Project 2025
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Student resilience, mental health and wellbeing are key factors to ensure a happy and fulfilling future for our young people.
This year we have chosen to partner with Resilient Youth Australia who have surveyed more than 900,000 Australian school students aged 8-18 and over 3,500 schools since 2013.
This year, we are administering the online Student Resilience Survey, during wellbeing specialist classes for students in year 3-9.
Students will engage with the survey when they are partaking in Wellbeing specialist classes, which occur on a rotational basis dependent on timetabling.
The Student Resilience Survey collects the self-reported resilience, mental health, and wellbeing of students and will provide us with valuable information to support key strengths and address challenges.
In addition, Resilient Youth Australia have developed a Parent Resilience Survey to complement the student survey. We encourage all parents and carers to complete the survey using the following information:
Survey link: https://lr.resilientyouth.org/
Survey access code: 800076
Both the student and parent/carer surveys are completely voluntary and anonymous, and no individual student or parent can be identified.
The data from the survey is reported in aggregate descriptive form only, by year level and gender.
If you have any questions regarding this survey project, please email Wellbeing Assistant Principal, Sarah O’Connor – sarah.oconnor2@education.vic.gov.au and Amanda Palombi –amanda.palombi@education.vic.gov.au.
We thank you for your support.
