Principal's Update

Caring Learning Growing: Every Child Every Day

Dear Families,

Welcome back to Term 3. As always, it is wonderful to see our children return safely to school. It is an absolute pleasure to observe their arrival on day 1, with the rush to tell their teachers about their holidays and the excited catch-up with their friends.

This term is only 9 weeks long, and I have no doubt it will fly.

There is a lot to cover this term, starting with student-led conferences over the next couple of weeks. The children love the opportunity to share their learning with you. A reminder that the children lead these sessions. If you have a significant concern that you wish to discuss with your child's teacher, please let them know so we can arrange an alternative time.

We are very close to going to tender with our building project. I met with the architects in Ballarat over the holidays to look at colours, etc. It's becoming increasingly exciting and very real.

Our Grade 5 children headed off on camp to Sovereign Hill this week and, by all accounts, have had a great time. As always, I am so thankful to our staff who take the time to both organise and attend these camps.
