Connected Schools Worship
The theme for this year’s Connected Schools Worship was Stories of Excellence, a continuation of the focus introduced during the Connected Schools Creative Workshops held in the previous term. During these workshops, visiting Year 4 students explored the book The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires and participated in a range of activities at Endeavour College. These activities were designed to encourage students to embrace challenges, try new things, and share in the spirit of excellence.
Building on this, Connected Schools Worship expanded the concept of excellence by focusing on how it is demonstrated in our relationships and interactions with others.
Each school explored a unique aspect of excellence, including inspiring and encouraging peers, learning from mistakes, serving others, and embodying school values in everyday actions.
The worship service provided a valuable opportunity for students and staff to gather in fellowship, hear how Jesus excellence is shared with us, strengthen their sense of community, and celebrate their shared identity within the Connected Schools network.
Students from Years 4 to 7 thoroughly enjoyed the worship experience, which included dramatic skits and energetic performances of well-known songs. The day concluded with a shared morning tea and time for play, further reinforcing the strong bonds between schools in the Connected Schools community.

Senior Music Solo Night
On Wednesday, July 30 at 6:30pm, twelve Senior Music students performed solo repertoire at our second Senior Solo Night for the year.
We had one of the biggest crowds that I have ever seen for a solo night, making it difficult to fit everyone in the Music Room!
Students performed incredibly well across a wide range of music, including several musical theatre numbers, classical piano, funky bass guitar and soulful vocals.

Year 10 Business Real Estate Incursion
This week, Year 10 Business Economics class welcomed Shaun Roberts, the local area representative from LJ Hooker Real Estate. Shaun facilitated an engaging Q&A session, helping shed light on key insights into the property market, from how houses are priced to the features of popular suburbs for investment. Students also learned about types of property investment, market trends and how economic conditions have impacted supply and demand. The session wrapped up with words of advice from Shaun, encouraging them to start saving and to use the power of compound interest to grow their deposit for their first home. Students were highly engaged in this session, with some seriously considering real estate as a future career path.
